The Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA), Akungba-Akoko will hold its 5th convocation ceremony for the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic session graduands on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th November, 2014.
The ceremony will see a total of 6,341
students receive their degree certificates with a breakdown of the
results showing that about 26 students got first class.
Further analysis of the results revealed
that 1,414 students are set to graduate with second class upper degrees
and another 3,505 with second class lower division. A total of 993
students came out with third class certificates.
In the media briefing heralding the
convocation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Femi
Mimiko, that the graduating students have been trained on various
vocations while in school in order to empower them and make them self
reliant.
He added that the state governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is expected as the special guest of honour during the award ceremony.
