A student of University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Abdulazeez Muh’d Bashir, has emerged the winner of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Essay Competition for 2014.
The 200-Level Combined Law student
beat seven other finalists who were invited for the essay defence late
September to the top prize.
Abdulazeez was awarded the sum of
N125,000.00 with a Samsung Galaxy Tab as well as an an all-expense paid
flight trip to the 46th CIPM Annual Conference held at the
International Conference Centre, Garki, Abuja between October 14 and 16
this year.
Other winners are: Abdulkareem
Abdulhakeem Ibraheem, a 400-Level student of History and International
Relations, UNILORIN who won the second prize and Onah Calistus Chinonso,
a student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) who got the third prize.
The competition which featured over 200
undergraduates from various Nigerian tertiary institutions is organised
by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, an institute of
learning on human resources and personnel management.
