The Salem University, Lokoja, Kogi State has graduated a total of 217 students during the first and second convocation ceremonies of the institution.
Speaking at the event, the
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Adeola Afuwape, said that six of the
graduands bagged First Class degrees, while 92 graduated with Second
Class Upper Division. 109 finished with Second Class Lower and 10 with a
Pass.
The VC used the occasion to announced scholarships for some displaced persons from some troubled areas of the north.
The Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris
Wada, along with the Attah Igala, Idakwo Ameh Oboni, were awarded
honorary Masters of Business Administration.
