The management of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo has approved the appointed of Dr. Rotimi Williams Olatunji, as the Acting Dean of the Adebola Adegunwa School of Communication.
He succeeds Professor Lai Oso, who had served as Dean for two terms between 2011 to 2014.
Dr. Olatunji graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile- Ife, where he bagged Bachelor of Arts (B. A) First Class Honours degree in Archaeology, and later went to the University of Ibadan (UI), Ibadan where he received both the M.A. degree in Communication and Language Arts and PhD Communication & Language Arts, specializing in Advertising as Communication
He joined the service of LASU School of Communication in 2001 as one of the pioneering academic staff as an Assistant Lecturer.
He was later appointed Lecturer 2 in 2004, Lecturer 1 in October 2008 and Senior Lecturer in June 2009.
In June 2011, Olatunji was appointed Associate Professor of Mass Communication.
