The Senate of the Redeemer’s University (RUN), Ede, during its 82nd statutory meeting held recently approved the appointment of Professor Kayode Adekeye, as the University’s first ever Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
Prof. Adekeye, a Professor of Statistics, until his appointment was the Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance at the university.
Making the announcement, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Debo Adeyewa, said that the appointment was necessitated by the need to expand in order to achieve lofty visions that would make the University realize its manifest destiny
He added that the appointment would serve as an impetus to accomplishing more ambitious projects within the University.
