The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA), Aliero has gotten the sum of N300 million from the state government for the upgrade of the institution’s internet services.
Making the announcement, the State Commissioner for Education, Alhaji
Sani Aliyu, said that the fund was to upgrade the university’s
Information Communication and Technology (ICT) centre as well as to
provide efficient internet services in the university in line with
global trend.
He said that the state government’s commitment to the education
sector was visible by its actions on increased feeding of secondary
school students.
The commissioner added that the present administration had also sustained the payment of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) registration fees for students of the state.
