107,000 UTME candidates seeking 12,000 admission spaces in UNILORIN – VC

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILO­RIN), Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali have stated that about 107,000 prospective students are seeking admission into the 12,000 admission spaces in the institution.

Prof. Ambali, who was speaking when the Resource Verification Team of the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC) visited the university to access the proposed Departments of Food Engineering and Computer Science Education, said that reasons for the high subscription to the institution because of its con­stant level of development.

The vice chancellor commended the NUC for its good work and the Re­source Verification Team, promising that Unilorin would key into the NUC Benchmark for Academic Standard, BMAS.

Unilorin applied for accreditation to commence programmes in Food Engi­neering and Computer Sci­ence Education.
