Important Notice To All UNILAG Graduating Students

The authorities of University of Lagos (UNILAG) wishes to inform all 2013/2014 graduating students who wish to be part of the academic procession at the forthcoming Convocation Ceremonies scheduled between Friday, April 24 to Thursday, April 30, 2015, that they are to make payment for academic gown.

Each graduating student is expected to pay for the Complete Academic Outfit (Gown, Hood & Cap), Certificate Folder and Convocation Brochure.as follows:

Academic Outfit	First Degree	Masters Degree, PGD, M.Phil	Doctorate Degree
Hiring of Academic Outfit, Brochure and Certificate	15,000.00	20,000.00	40,000.00
For Hiring of Academic Outfit plus Brochure and Certificate the following will be Refunded on Return of Academic Outfit	5,000.00	5,000.00	20,000.00
Outright Purchase of Academic Outfit, Brochure and Certificate	15,000.00	20,000.00	40,000.00

Refund will only be made on the return of the academic outfit on or before May 18,  2015.
Academic outfit will be available in the College, School of Postgraduate Studies, Faculties, and the Distance Learning Institute.

Procedure for payment and refund

Graduating students are to pay for academic outfit, brochures and certificates into Unilag Convocation Account No (Nationwide) and collect the Blue Copy of the teller.  Name and Faculty should be indicated boldly on the teller.  Procedure for the refund of the garment will be made available at the point of collections of academic outfit.

INVITATION CARDS FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS
Each graduating student is entitled to two invitation cards.  The invitation cards and complete set of academic outfit made up of gown, hood, cap and scroll would be available for collection on presentation of receipt/teller for payment at the College/School/Faculty/Institute as appropriate, Convocation Brochure and Academic outfit are to be collected at the various locations earlier mentioned.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Rahamon Ade Bello, FAEng, congratulates all graduating students on behalf of the entire University community.  The students are hereby assured that certificates will be ready for collection immediately after each ceremony upon the presentation of ALL necessary clearance.
