The Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has appointed Prof. Sam Oyovbaire as the Chairman, Governing Council of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
The appointment of Oyovbaire followed the resignation of Mr. Tony Elumelu, the Chief Executive Officer of Heirs Holdings, who was sworn in along with seven other members of the Governing Council on March 15, 2013.
The new appointment takes effect immediately.
