NYSC Batch A 2016 Timetable – Orientation Date Announced

Contrary to the wildly circulated NYSC timetable in the past few weeks, the National Service Youth Corps (NYSC) has now released an official time table for the 2016 batch A mobilization exercise.

Please see below the official and authentic timetable published today by the NYSC management.

NYSC Mobilization Time Table For 2016 Batch A:

1. 2015 Batch B Post Mobilisation Workshop: 19th - 21st November 2015.

2. 2016 Batch A pre-mobilization workshop: 5th - 9th January 2016.

3. Briefing of corps Members / final year students: 12th - 22nd January 2016.

4. Display of list of all approved programmes for institutions on NYSC portal for cross checking: 11th - 22nd January 2016.

5. Collation of Prospective Corps Members' Data by Corps Producing Institutions CPIs: 11st - 25th January 2016.

6. Submission / Uploading of Senate / Academic Board Approved Result for Full / Part-Time Graduates and Revalidation Lists by CPIs: 25th January - 6th February 2016.

7. Uploading of Corrected Lists by Corps Producing Institutions: 25th January - 6th February 2016.

8. On-line Registration by Foreign and locally Trained Nigerian Graduates: 8th February - 12th March 2016.

9. Entertainment of complaints from Prospective Corps Members by the state Deployment and Relocation officers and NYSC Help Lines / Desks: 14th - 19th March, 2016.

10. Forwarding of Complaints to Mobilisation Dept by State Deployment and Relocation officers: 14th - 19th March, 2016.

11. 2016 Batch A Orientation Course (Stream I): 30th March - 18th April, 2016.

12. 2016 Batch A Orientation Course (Stream II): 27th April - 16th May, 2016.

All prospective corps members are to start preparation for their service year immediately as their call-up letters will be printed online using the NYSC Mobile App.

The NYSC Year comprises of four (4) main segments in which every Corps Members must satisfactorily participate before he/she is qualified to be issued a certificate of National Service. The service year therefore comprises of:
  1. Orientation Courses
  2. Primary Assignment
  3. Community Development Service
  4. Winding–Up / Passing–out.

NYSC Notice To Prospective 2015 Batch ‘B’ Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) wishes to inform 2015 batch B stream I prospective corps members who couldn't make it to camp or went to camp late that the NYSC Management has concluded its decision to allow them to join stream II.

They are hereby informed to log into their NYSC portal and re-print Call-up letters as the Stream II reporting date will be reflected on the new call-up letters.

Please comply and report to Camp on the stipulated dates because missing stream II means missing Batch B.

AAUA Notice To Final Year Students On NYSC Briefing

The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA) wishes to invite all final year students (400 & 500), and the current graduating students of the University to attend a very important briefing with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) officials.

The meeting is to brief the students on some important matters that affect their pre- and post-mobilization exercise for the National Service.

The meeting is as scheduled below:
Date: Tuesday, 25th August, 2015.
Time: 11am.
Venue: Olusegun Obasanjo Multipurpose Hall.
