MOUAU Matriculates 6,000 New Students for 2014/2015 Session

About 6,000 students were admitted into Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) in Abia State during the 22nd matriculation ceremony of the institution held over the weekend.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor, Hillary Edoga, while addressing the fresh students, warned that the school would not condone any act that would breach the peace and security on campus.

He advised the students not to indulge in criminal activities including armed robbery, cultism and prostitution, warning that any student caught would be expelled.

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture is one of the three specialised universities of agriculture established by the Federal government of Nigeria in 1992.
The University is located in the well-kown agricultural training and research community of Umudike in the south Eastern zone of Nigeria.

Congratulations to the new students…
