The Lagos State Polytechnic, (LASPOTECH) will today graduate a total of 7,022 students during the 23rd convocation ceremony of the institution.
Speaking during a pre-convocation press conference, the Rector of the
institution, Dr. Abdulazeez Lawal said that all the graduating students
are fully ready to face the challenges of life.
Giving a breakdown of the graduates, the rector said a total of 4,094
students will graduate at the National Diploma (ND) in full time while
2,928 HND students will graduate from the school of part time studies.
He also assured all the graduands that they will get their certificates immediately after the convocation.
Dr. Lawal added that all stakeholders in the polytechnics have been
working on the issue of dichotomy between HND and Bsc to make sure that
there is no discrimination for the holders of Bsc and HND in the
country.
