UNIBEN Admitted Only 37% of Post-UTME Candidates for 2015/16 Session

A total of 10,353 students took their matriculation oath on Friday, 22nd January, 2016 at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo state.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Faraday Orumwense, disclosed that the new students represents about 37 per cent of the 28,400 applicants who sat for the Computer Based Post UTME screening of the institution in 2015.

He said the reason why the institution continues to receive large number of applications for admission on a yearly basis is due to its academic strides.

Orumwense congratulated the matriculating students for being among the lucky few who scaled through the various selection processes and urged them to work hard as students of the university.

The VC also advised students to make out time to engage in sports and scholarly lectures to enhance their academic performance.

ii) Candidates that made the college their first, second or third choice in the 2015 UTME examination can apply.

Register and pay for the Post UTME screening through the college portal (www.kwcoeilorin.edu.ng/portal/putme). Print out the acknowledgement slip containing your personal details as well as the examination schedule slip.
Candidates applying for Arabic Medium are to print customized answer sheets included.

SCREENING DATE & DETAILS
The screening examination will be conducted by Computer Based Testing (CBT), however, candidates for Arabic Medium will undergo Paper Based Test (PBT). Both are on Friday, 15th January, 2016.

a. Photocopy of the UTME results slip (bring the original for sighting).
b. Photocopies of WASC, NECO, NABTEB, etc results used to apply (bring original copies for sighting).

EBSU first and supplementary choice candidates who could not secure admission through merit shall be considered for supplementary admission provided that (i) they posses sufficient evidence to confirm that they were screened during the 2015/2016 EBSU Post UTME screening exercise and that they passed JAMB (UTME) and EBSU Post UTME/PDS at the respective minimum pass marks. (ii) they show evidence of payment of three thousand naira (N3,000) only for screening.

Ebsu post utme 2015 details announced. The Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, invites all candidates who chose EBSU and who scored 180 and above in the 2015/2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to register/process the Post-UTME application form. Application starts from Tuesday, 14th July.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Direct entry candidates who chose EBSU and possess a minimum of OND/OD upper credit are also to participate in this online screening exercise for the purpose of screening/verification of their O/Level results only. These candidates are NOT required to write the screening test.

Fce Abeokuta post Utme form 2015 is out. The management of Federal College of Education (FCE), Abeokuta is inviting interested qualified candidates to apply for the Post-UTME screening exercise for 2015/2016 Academic Session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess minimum entry qualification of five (5) O’ level credit passes in relevant subjects at one or two sitting in SSCE/GCE/NECO or its equivalent.

ELIGIBILITY
1) Only candidates who sat for the 2015/2016 UTME with relevant subjects combinations and have scored a minimum of 150 JAMB score are eligible to take post UTME screening test.
NOTE: The Post-UTME Screening Exercise is a mandatory pre-requisite for all candidates into Federal College of Education, Abeokuta.
2) However, interested candidates who did not initially apply to Federal College of Education, Abeokuta can also register on-line and participate in the Post-UTME Screening of Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, provided they meet the above requirements.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Eligible candidates should pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) which excludes Bank Commission, payable only on e-transact invoice platform generated from www.fceabeokuta.net in any Access Bank, Zenith bank or UBA.
With the completed e-transact platform, the candidates should access the website with the e-transact code/pin obtained at the Bank and should complete the form on-line at www.fceabeokuta.net
Candidates should print and keep their copy of on-line completed form on the website.

SCREENING DATE
The Examination date and venue will be communicated to candidates later, on the supplied contact. Candidates should please bring copies of the on-line registration form and JAMB result slip and photo card to the examination venue.

CLOSING DATE
