Yetunde emerges 2014 MBGE

In the just concluded Most Beautiful Girl In Ekiti State University (EKSU) pageant which was held at the EKSU main auditorium, Miss Akinro Yetunde Ajoke, a 200 level Student of Plant Science emerged the winner and was rewarded. The gift was presented to her officially by the office of the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA).

It was a highly anticipated and well attended event with guests ranging from past and present beauty queens and kings, delectable EKSU alumni, celebrities amongst others.

The show ended late but was worth the wait as there were mind blowing performances from the airtel nigeria one mic stnd winner Jay Dreamz, Zoko, Tee Flash, Shegrin amongst others. Dance performance by DMI was also off the hook.

The contestants also put up a great show, from their choreographed dance session to their corporate, traditional and evening gown displays.

Top five contestants were selected out of the 12 and were asked questions to test their intelligence. Though the five contestants performed well, one had to be selected and Akinro Yetunde Ajoke emerged victorious and was greeted with cheers from the crowd as certainly a larger part of them were in favor of the judges’ choice.

Amondi Titilyo Mercy and Obe Yewande Oreoluwa were the first and second runners up respectively.

The newly crowned queen walked away with a LG Home Theater, Woodin Apparel,1 year Make-Up & Hair supply courtesy Iballs Makeover, Microwave , Blackberry Z3 amongst other goodies.

Speaking of her success, she expressed utmost gratitude to God almighty for giving her the strength, talent, courage and the grace to emerge the winner. She also thanked J26 Concept, Ekiti State University Management, EKSU SUG, Campus Camerazzi, Dynamix TV/Magazine, Acada Magazine, Blackberry, EKSU Olofofo, Motunrayo Balogun (Miss AAUA), Portofino Eateries, Midas Hotel, ABC Relaxer, Phasion De Real, Prosperous Hotel, Prodigie Magazine/Lounge and other stake holders that made the 2014 MBGE event a success. Her friends and family members were equally thanked for their love and support.
